I am getting some sick sort of masochistic pleasure out of the fact that I spent at least 6 solid hours preparing my Musicianship homework for tomorrow, and it still wasn't perfect.

you should go take a studio; you can spend at least 60 solid hours preparing your work and it will never be perfect and you'll get to do it all over again the next day. the sick, masochistic fun NEVER STOPS!

haha yeah, I took a studio class at the university during college and it damn near killed me. in music we don't have studio, but I can practice a piece for hours and hours or work on my technique and it still isn't perfected. but while it is sick and masochistic, it is fun.
